A size label is just what the name suggests, a clothing label that shows a particular garments' size. It is an essential label for anyone selling or making garments for others as it helps potential customers quickly find a garment that is likely to fit them.
Size labels are an important requirement when selling your garments and we have designed ours to easily match your needs. Our small, discrete size labels are offered in a range of standardised sizing options, in either a black-on-white or white-on-black colourway for high contrast and quick readability. Your size pips will be delivered to you flat, ready to be folded in half and sewn directly into a seam or attached to your woven brand label, so easy!

It is up to you as the designer to decide how to size your clothing, but try to keep your customers in mind too. Maintaining consistent sizing within your brand while sticking to general size standards that match your country or audience will help to gain the trust of customers so they can rely on you for the right fit. At Dutch Label Shop, we offer a huge range of size labels that you can attach to any fabric product. We have numbers 1-200, international sizing (XXS-XXL) and infant sizing, as well as popular tags such as One Size Fits All. We get that sizing is complicated, so we have also put together a guide to size conversions using different country standards. If you don't want a label just for the size, you could also incorporate sizing info onto your brand or care label design. Though this will get rid of that additional label, it does mean more labels might need to be ordered. Each label design that has a different size is considered a separate design (even if the only difference is the size) and will need to be submitted as separate labels in your order. This means you will also need to meet order minimums for each separate design.
Our size labels can be attached in numerous ways. They can be sewn onto a woven brand label at the bottom or side, or attached directly to a garment at the back neck, back waistband, or into a side seam. Some customers sew theirs at the same time as attaching a care label, so it sits on top of that. There are no rules to attaching your size label, just make sure it is somewhere that customers can spot it quickly when browsing the rack.
