While the materials we use (like high-quality polyester yarn) do not absorb water and will not shrink or bleed, the patches themselves are "weather-resistant" rather than 100% waterproof. They are perfectly suited for snow and cold mountain conditions. For the best results on technical gear, we recommend sewing them on to maintain the integrity of your jacket.

Can I put these patches on a down jacket (puffer)?

Yes, you can! However, we strongly advise against using an iron-on backing for down jackets, as the heat can damage the delicate synthetic outer shell. Instead, choose a sew-on or Velcro finish. If you’re sewing, be sure to use a fine needle to avoid feathers escaping!
