Step 1: Designing A Printed Patch
Use any design software you’re comfortable with, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign, to craft your custom Printed Patch. Ensure your file has a resolution of at least 300 dpi for clarity. We recommend vector files (.svg) for best results but can also work with .png, .psd, or .jpg formats. If you’re unsure whether your file is suitable, simply upload it, and we’ll assess it for you.

Step 2: Submit Your Design
Upload your design through our quote form, providing key details like the desired size, quantity, and specific colors. Feel free to add any special requests or questions. Our team will review your submission and get back to you within two working days with pricing and design confirmation.

Step 3: Production & Delivery
Once your design is confirmed, we’ll move your order into production. Although we aim for a quick turnaround, production and shipping can take up to two weeks. We’ll keep you informed and let you know as soon as your order is dispatched!

Wondering about shapes and sizes for your design? Our Printed Patches can be made into any shape! Popular patch shapes include classics such as circular, oval, rectangular, and square, as well as custom shapes like shields, triangles, flowers and irregular shapes.

Size-wise, we can create any size you require. And when it comes to the edges of your patch, there are three different options for you to choose from, each with its own unique look.  

1. Laser cut: with this method, the patch is cut from the material with a laser, creating a neat, sharp edge. This edge requires no further finishing.
2. Merrow edge border: A tight raised stitch is stitched around the edge of the patch. This stitch gives the edge a professional look and offers a high quality, sturdy edge. Merrow edges come in different colors, so you can match them with the color of your emblem or design.
3. Embroidery edge: A decorative edge that is embroidered around the patch edges. Embroidery edges can be made in different patterns and colors, giving your emblem a unique and personalized look.

Our unique custom Printed Patches can be ordered with a range of different attachment options to match your needs. Below are the options to pick from, which each have their own advantages.

• Sew on: This is a permanent option that requires no glue or iron. You sew the patch on the fabric using a needle and thread. This is a good choice for patches that are attached to sturdy fabrics such as cotton or denim and if they need to last a long time.
• Iron on: This choice is permanent and easy to attach! You place the patch on the fabric and iron over it with a hot iron. The glue on the back of the emblem melts and sticks to the fabric.
• Sticker: This option is semi-permanent and easy to attach. You remove the protective film from the back of the sticker and stick it to the surface. The sticker is removable, so you can move the patch later (if needed). This is a good choice for emblems to be attached to smooth surfaces such as glass or metal. The sticker adhesive is not suitable for textiles.
• Velcro - hook side: This option is removable and reusable. The hook/ rough side of the Velcro is attached to the Printed Patch. The Printed Patch can now be attached to soft, textured fabrics like felt, or any piece of loop/ soft side Velcro.
• Velcro - both sides: This last choice is also removable and reusable. Again, The hook/ rough side of the Velcro is attached to the Printed Patch. A piece of loop/soft side piece of Velcro is cut in the same shape as the Printed Patch, which can be sewn onto your fabric.

You submit a design which is printed onto our backing fabric, then finished with either a laser cut, merrow, or embroidered edge. You can choose from a range of different application methods for your printed patches including sew-on, iron-on, or velcro.

The production time for printed patches is often slightly faster than that of Embroidered or Woven Patches. The exact production time depends on the size of the order and the complexity of the design, however we aim to have ordered processed and shipped within 12 to 14 days of ordering. 

While we always use high-quality materials, printed patches still may fade or wear off slightly after some time. This depends on usage, laundering, and exposure to chemicals and sunlight. If you require a patch that can withstand more wear and tear, try our Woven Patches or Embroidered Patches.
